Never miss a surprise or a concert!

Swing Classics

Exciting recap! Thanks to a generous donation made in honor of HJ and Dolores Bartizal, the concert was entirely FREE! This anonymous donor aimed to bring some relief to the NWA community as we recovered from the recent tornadoes.

We honored the Bartizal family's unwavering support of the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra with a night filled with swinging excitement. The APO Big Band performed classic Big Band Swing hits, directed by APO Music Director Steven Byess, who offered entertaining insights and anecdotes. Professional swing dancers also led a fun swing dance lesson before the concert began.
