Kayla's love of theater started as a child while watching Singing In The Rain with her grandmother. She eventually went to Liberty University and got her degree in musical theater performance after which she started her professional career with credits that include: JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (Tony Winner for Best Regional Theater), and HELLO DOLLY (Irene Malloy), along with 2 off broadway productions. But her favorite moment on stage has been performing a 2 man cabaret at the famous 54 Below in New York City with her husband, Jordan. When she and Jordan moved to NWA, she founded Perry Ryan Theater Company- a new professional company that partners Broadway professionals with local artists to enrich the arts culture right here at home. She has produced 3 productions with PRTC (BROADWAY IN BENTONVILLE, FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE, & MATILDA) starring Dan Micciche (music director for WICKED on Broadway), Eryn LeCroy (PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on Broadway) and local artists. PRTC is bringing 3 more productions this year!
Jordan is a native of Kissimmee, Florida where he grew up in a musical family. He earned a degree in music and was trained in opera and vocal performance. After he and Kayla married, they moved to New York City where he was cast in 2 Off Broadway productions (“Celebrity Confessions”, “REVELATION: the musical”) and featured as a soloist on the world famous Carnegie Hall stage. He made his NWA debut after moving to here in 2020 in Perry Ryan Theater Companies production of BROADWAY IN BENTONVILLE and was last seen in PRTC's production of FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE starring alongside Kayla, Dan Micciche (Broadway’s WICKED) and Eryn LeCroy (Broadway’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA). He is excited to join a thriving artistic community here!
