Executive director
Jason Miller joined the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra as Executive Director in 2015. In this role, Jason has led all facets of the professional orchestra (APO) and youth orchestra (APYO). He has built many collaborative partnerships with fellow arts organizations and been an advocate for out-of-the-box thinking as it relates to access and programming in the arts. Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University.
Prior to this position, Jason served as Administrator for a large Lutheran church in the Chicago suburbs where he was responsible for fundraising, events, volunteer coordinating, and community engagement.
Together with his wife, Jennifer, they founded the largest charity drag show in the state, Bentonville Follies, promoting diversity and inclusion. Proceeds from the show benefit a variety of local nonprofit organizations. In his spare time, Jason enjoys traveling with his family and building LEGO sets with his kids. His most favorite pastime is having friends over for a glass of wine and home-cooked meal.
