MATTHEW SWERTS

Matt Swerts began his trumpet journey in Dallas, Texas, performing with the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra under Dr. Nicholas Williams. After relocating to Northwest Arkansas, he earned his bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Arkansas. During his time there, he studied trumpet with Dr. Richard Rulli and participated in the Wind Ensemble as well as various other performing groups.

Mr. Swerts has won multiple competitions through the International Trumpet Guild and is now passionate about sharing his love for music by teaching private lessons. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing pickleball, and exploring the outdoors.
