Never miss a surprise or a concert!
Honoring the memory of the fiercely supportive Dolores Bartizal, the APO proudly presents an evening themed around Feisty Femmes (with the support of a few good men).
It started with the orchestral world premiere of composer Barbara York’s, The Sunken Garden.
Then, we got our tango on with Argentinian composer Ástor Piazzolla’s famous hometown tribute, The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
Working closely with Maestro Steven Byess, the APO’s lead violinist Er-Gene Kahng and contrabassoonist Richard Bobo both shone brilliantly.
