Never miss a surprise or a concert!

Sonic Blossom featuring Molly Pinson Simoneau

What a stunning night at Crystal Bridges! The visionary artist, Lee Mingwei was in attendance and opened the evening with a gracious speech, reflecting on the kindness of the people in Northwest Arkansas. Molly Pinson Simoneau's powerfully captivating voice filled the Crystal Bridges Great Hall on September 8th. Guest concertmaster, Kiril Laskarov also joined us in the first chair.

Molly Pinson Simoneau has performed Lee Mingwei's Sonic Blossom at the Smithsonian National Portrait gallery in 2018, and at MoCa Cleveland in 2019, and is excited to be performing the piece again at the Crystal Bridges Museum. Molly's repertoire includes opera roles from Verdi's Fallstaff, Puccini's Il Tabarro, Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, and Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier, along with a variety of concert music from the canon and by local Washington DC area composers. Molly's performance as Sharon in Terrence McNally's Masterclass earned critical praise for her "gorgeous tone."
